This Privacy Policy explains how Launchy ("Launchy", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use our social media scheduling app. Launchy lets you connect your own third-party social accounts and schedule your content to publish automatically. By using Launchy you agree to the practices described here.

Connecting your social accounts

Launchy lets you connect social accounts that belong to you — including TikTok, Meta (Instagram and Facebook) and YouTube — through each platform's official OAuth authorization flow. We never ask for or store your social account passwords. Authorization happens on the platform's own website, and you decide which permissions to grant.

Information we collect

  • Account information you provide to create and sign in to your Launchy account (such as your email).
  • OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by the platforms you connect, so Launchy can publish or schedule content on your behalf.
  • The content you upload to be scheduled or published (videos, captions and scheduling metadata).
  • Basic profile information returned by a connected platform to identify the account (for example, the account handle or open ID).

How we store and use tokens

Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption (AES-256-GCM). We use them solely to perform the actions you configure — publishing or scheduling your content to the accounts you connected. We do not sell your tokens or share them with third parties, and we do not use them for any purpose beyond the scheduling features you request.

How to revoke access

You can disconnect any connected account at any time from inside the app, under Accounts & Networks. Disconnecting removes the stored tokens for that account and revokes Launchy's ability to publish to it. You may also revoke access directly from the connected platform's own settings (for example, in your TikTok or Meta account's connected-apps section).

Data retention

We keep your tokens and scheduled content only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you disconnect an account or delete your Launchy account, the associated tokens are removed.
